APIDA 2024

OMSA (Office of Multicultural Affairs)

Asian Pacific Islander Desi Arab (APIDA) Heritage Month is observed in the United States during the month of May. I was selected to work on the branding for APIDA month by the marketing director Kim Sekas. I was asked to create various assets, such as social media posts, posters, and design a website. APIDA month also had a special event called HOLI, which I also designed graphics for.

The marketing director, Kim Sekas, guided me in updating the Foreign FIlm Series branding. I am very proud of it because it was my first taste of having freedom to design a brand in my position. I went with a two tone theme, because it gave more of a "movie" feel.
Together Again
Racine & Kenosha Exhibition
The catalog layout was designed by Oliver J. Johnson, a person I looked (and continue to look up too) up to and continue to look up to as my graphic design mentor. He allowed me an amazing opportunity to play a small part in the print. It is the first booklet with my name on it as well. I organized the artwork and names of artists within the page and other last-minute changes. This was a project I was proud to help with and taught me a lot about layout.
Together Again Exhibition was hosted by UW-Parkside to kick off their celebration of 10 years at the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts & Humanities. It is a catalog of contemporary artists working in Racine and Kenosha.
